What is DreamPets?
DreamPets is an app for iPhone and iPad that turns a photo of your pet into AI videos and portraits: dance and adventure videos, talking videos, holiday and birthday creations, and daily photos, videos and story episodes in your Feed. It also has memes, stickers, wallpapers and widgets, Pet Cards, and a playful pet translator.
Which pets does it work with?
Dogs, cats and small companions such as hamsters.
Is DreamPets free?
Yes. The app is free to download, and free features are supported by ads. DreamPets PRO is an optional subscription in the app. On the web, you get 3 free creations a day with a Google account.
Where do I get the app?
On the App Store for iPhone and iPad, and on Google Play for Android. Search for "DreamPets" or use the buttons at the bottom of this page.
Is DreamPets the same as DreamPets Online or DreamPets.GG?
No. DreamPets (dreampets.ai) is an app for AI pet videos and portraits. It isn't affiliated with the DreamPets Online video game or with DreamPets.GG.
Photos that work best
What kind of photo should I use?
One pet in the frame.
Face in view, eyes and nose visible.
Taken at their eye level.
Soft, even light, such as near a window.
Sharp, not blurry.
The original photo, without filters, stickers or watermarks.
For dance videos, a photo that shows their whole body.
My creation doesn't look like my pet. What can I do?
Try another photo that follows the tips above. A close, sharp, well-lit photo with the face fully in view makes the biggest difference. Results can vary from one creation to the next, so making the same style again can also help.
Can I use an old photo?
Yes, as long as your pet is clear and in focus.
Using DreamPets on the web
What can I make on the web?
Single videos and portraits from one photo, at dreampets.ai/create. Daily adventures and story episodes, Animate, talking videos with your own lines, several pets in one creation, and the Fun tools are in the app.
Why do I need to sign in with Google?
Your creations are saved to your account, so you can find them later in My creations. Signing in also lets PRO from the app work on the web.
How many free creations do I get on the web?
3 a day on free styles. The count resets at 00:00 UTC. If a creation fails, it doesn't count.
Why does it say "Daily limit reached on this network"?
There's also a daily limit for each network, shared by everyone on it, so on shared Wi-Fi it can run out sooner. It resets at 00:00 UTC. Until then, you can use the app.
Where are my creations?
In My creations (dreampets.ai/creations), while you're signed in with the same Google account.
DreamPets PRO and subscriptions
What does PRO include?
Every style marked PRO, HD and Animate without ads, your own lines in talking videos, 3 pets, PRO frames for Pet Cards, and no daily limit on the web.
How do I get PRO?
Subscribe in the DreamPets app. Plans and prices are shown in the app before you subscribe. PRO isn't sold on the website.
Does PRO work on the web?
Yes, if your app account uses Sign in with Google. Sign in here with that same Google account. If you signed in to the app with Apple, or haven't signed in there, PRO stays in the app.
I have PRO but the website doesn't show it.
Check that your app account uses Sign in with Google, and that you're signed in here with that same Google account. If it still doesn't show, email contact@dreampets.ai with that account's email address.
How do I cancel?
App Store: Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions › DreamPets.
Google Play: Play Store › your profile › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions › DreamPets.
On the App Store, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends to avoid the next charge. Deleting the app or your account doesn't cancel a subscription.
How do I restore a purchase?
In the app, open Settings and tap Restore purchases. On the web, PRO follows your Google account. For a purchase made on dreampets.ai in the past, email contact@dreampets.ai.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds for App Store and Google Play purchases are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies. For a purchase made on dreampets.ai in the past, email contact@dreampets.ai.
Privacy and your photos
What happens to the photos I upload?
We use them to make your creations. Your photos and creations are kept in your account until you delete them or your account. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Is my work public?
No. DreamPets has no public gallery of other people's creations. Your creations are only shared when you share them.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Settings and delete your account, or follow the steps at dreampets.ai/app-delete-account.html. Deleting your account removes the pets, photos and creations in it. Copies you've already saved or shared elsewhere aren't affected, and subscriptions must be canceled separately.
Reporting content
How do I report a creation?
Every AI creation has a Report button. In the app, it's on the result and in your Feed and history. On the web, it's on the result and in My creations. Choose Send report, and we'll review it.
Pet Translator
Does the Pet Translator really understand my pet?
No. It's just for fun: a playful take on your pet's sounds and expressions, not a real translation of animal language.
Which pets does the translator work with?
Cats and dogs.
Something went wrong
My creation failed.
Try again in a moment. On the web, failed creations don't count toward your 3 free a day. If it keeps failing, try a different photo.
It's taking a long time.
Videos can take a few minutes. On the web you can close the page; finished creations show up in My creations.
Sign-in with Google doesn't work.
Allow pop-ups for dreampets.ai, turn off blockers that stop Google sign-in, and try again. Private browsing can also block sign-in.
The video won't download on my iPhone.
Tap Download, then choose Save Video from the share sheet. If nothing happens, open the page in Safari.
